Module 2 for 2017 GCPT trainees – Sat Dec 2nd (9am – 5pm) & Sun Dec 3rd (8am – 4pm) Bell City, 215 Bell Street, Preston, VIC, 3072. This training workshop is NOT open to the general public and is only open to Certified TRE Providers (L1, L2 0r GCTP) or 2016 & 2017 GCTP Trainees. If you are not in the current 2017 TRE Certification training, please do not register for this workshop until you have contacted Richmond to discuss your suitability to attend.

2018 TRE CERTIFICATION TRAINING – MODULE 1 – June 23 & 24th, Melbourne (venue TBC)
2 DAY WORKSHOP SYLLABUS (12 contact hrs):
Day 1: Tremors, Trauma & TRE
- morning TRE session – invoking & self-regulating tremors in a safe & controlled way
- afternoon TRE session – Quickstart TRE (invoking tremors in as little as 5-10 mins simply lying on the floor)
- how the body responds to stress & trauma (real or perceived)
- poly-vagal theory & our 3 primary autonomic nervous system states
- the role of conditioned memory in tension, bracing & unresolved trauma
- the role of neurogenic tremors in stress release & trauma recovery
- how the body releases stress & resolves trauma through autonomic movement
- why embodiment & interoception is the key to building resilience
Day 2: Tremors Beyond Trauma – Growth, Vitality & Resilience
- morning TRE session – full TRE lead in exercises to deepen the tremor experience
- afternoon TRE session – TRE for grounding, centering & presence
- integration of overnight responses to TRE & refinement of self-regulation
- the role of dream completion in trauma recovery
- the role of fascia & fascial unwinding during TRE
- post-traumatic growth & creating physiological maturity in the nervous system
- the neurology of Flow & the use of TRE for creativity & personal growth
- the role of neural plasticity in creating sustainable change through TRE
Please note – the workshop syllabus may be adjusted according to the needs of the group & an overview of the Certification Training program will be presented during the last 1/2 hr of lunch on day 2 for those interested

TRE Certification Trainer – Richmond Heath
Richmond Heath is a Physiotherapist and founder of Trauma Release Australia who introduced TRE to Australia in 2010. He has run public workshops and professional trainings around Australia and New Zealand including to bushfire survivors in Vicotria, flood survivors in QLD and earthquake survivors in New Zealand. He has presented at conferences internationally and has a broad background in physiotherapy, mental health, community health, Bowen Therapy, Pilates and suicide prevention.
